I know some engineers are actively working on that.

I hope to see you at the Summit. We get faster response and support agents that seem interested in solving our problem without pressuring us to close the case.

On UX improvement, it would be really nice if Marketo could put a stake in the ground and say we're going to devote x% of every release cycle to improving basic UX capabilities like being able to Rename and Move anything. I understand that as a product development team, you're always having to make tradeoffs between projects that might drive incremental revenue from new markets and new customers versus fixing things that might increase customer satisfaction and reduce turnover. I also understand that you're probably dealing with an existing software infrastructure and some obvious UX issues just aren't easy to fix. So I'm resigned to see slow improvement in UX.

In my opinion, the biggest opportunity would be to make the data in the activity logs exportable for groups of people. That would require improving Marketo's ability to segment or run reports for all the activity log data for a segment. And because there is so much detail in the activity log, it would be nice to be able to filter what data to export to make the file sizes manageable. I believe that there are really valuable marketing insights in that data that one could take action on if that was possible. Or give us access to the data warehouse and provide a way to run queries against our own data cubes.

Thanks again for taking the time to listen.

Regards,

Danielle LeeDanihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09707632772934099939noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-683789004008377386.post-25843923177354629582012-04-17T11:40:46.431-07:002012-04-17T11:40:46.431-07:00Hi, I am the VP of UX at Marketo. It helps others and you clearly thought through this in detail.

I am sorry your support experience didn't work as it was supposed to. I would be happy to help. Are you still experiencing issues?

Also, our product management team takes the "ideas" in the community very seriously. I shared all your feedback with them personally and talked about how we could move the ball forward on some of these. If you would like, I could provide an introduction.

Your success is really important to us. If there is anything else I can help with, please let me know.

Best,

Glen LipkaGlen Lipkahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11576762288468453292noreply@blogger.com
